Mari-Mari Cultural Village and City Tour

Just 40 minutes from the city, a journey to Mari-Mari Cultural Village offers a fascinating glimpse into Sabah’s rich cultural heritage. This immersive experience highlights the traditions and lifestyles of Sabah’s main indigenous tribes in the olden days. Step inside five traditional houses representing the Bajau, Dusun, Murut, Rungus, and Lundayeh communities. Each house reveals unique customs, architecture, and stories, giving you a deeper understanding of how people in the past lived, worked, and celebrated their culture. Along the way, take part in hands-on activities such as testing your skills with a blowpipe, learning traditional fire-starting techniques, and exploring other age-old community activities. End your visit on a vibrant note with a lively cultural performance showcasing traditional music and dance. Before returning to your hotel, enjoy a light refreshment while reflecting on this memorable cultural journey. Upon returning to Kota Kinabalu, we will make a stop at the iconic Tun Mustapha Tower, one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. From there, we continue to the breathtaking Kota Kinabalu City Mosque, often called the “Floating Mosque,” where its elegant architecture reflects beautifully over the surrounding lagoon. Next, experience a touch of serenity at the peaceful Puh Toh Tze Buddhist Temple, perched on a hill with impressive statues and sweeping views. Heading back into the heart of the city, we stop by the historic Atkinson Clock Tower, a charming reminder of Kota Kinabalu’s colonial past. Then it’s time to soak up the lively atmosphere of Gaya Street, where colorful shops and local culture come together. Along the way, treat your taste buds to a sampling of delicious local delicacies at several stops. To finish the experience on a relaxing note, enjoy a delightful coffee or tea break at a cozy local restaurant before we comfortably return you to your hotel.

Island hoping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and begin your journey to Sutera Marina Jetty. From the jetty, enjoy a scenic 20-minute boat ride across the sea to the beautiful Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Spend the day relaxing and exploring two islands within the marine park, where you can enjoy the clear waters, sandy beaches, and peaceful island atmosphere. After a refreshing day in paradise, depart the island at 1430hrs and return to the mainland.

Stand up Paddle

Enjoy a relaxed morning at your own pace. Step out and explore the city as it comes to life. At 1630hrd, meet at your hotel lobby for a transfer to the Tanjung Aru Second Beach. Meet your instructor for a short briefing before the activity begins. Set out on a scenic paddle along the waters of the South China Sea. Enjoy the calm surroundings as you glide across the sea, taking in the tranquil atmosphere. Witness a breathtaking sunset as the sky transforms into shades of gold, orange, and crimson—an unforgettable highlight of the day. We conclude the tour at 1900hrs and transfer back to your hotel.
